As your counselor, I will meet you wherever you are and walk alongside you toward growth and positive change. I offer professional Christian counseling for children, teens, couples, adult individuals, families, and groups. My practice benefits from the exceptional supervision of Jason Brown, MS, LPC Supervisor, who is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. Others have described me as having a genuine, warm personality and I sincerely enjoy building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients. Whether you’re dealing with depression, relationship issues, chemical dependency, anxiety, trauma, anger, or other concerns, I would be honored to listen to your story and work with you to develop an effective treatment plan to best meet your needs and goals.

My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a counselor is to offer a safe space for clients to facilitate healing and promote growth in all aspects of life. I hope that my clients are able to gain a deeper insight into their own life and recognize that our worth is not an earthly one, but has heavenly value.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
As my client, you can expect me to have a genuine interest in how your life has been unfolding since our last meeting together. At the beginning of each session, we will discuss possible topics for the session. We will also consider strategies or skills that might contribute to your growth as well as constructive challenges or reframing of statements and beliefs that may be contributing to cognitive dissonance or dysfunction.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I believe that by operating under a Christian approach, we are able to establish the foundation that our Heavenly Father values and loves us no matter what we have experienced on earth and will continue to love us unwaveringly. This informs my own practice in that I try to replicate that same love that God shows for His children. By sharing in that love, I seek to honor and teach others of the Father’s love.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a Master of Arts degree from Texas Wesleyan University. I did part of my training at Arise Recovery Center.
My Call to Christian Counseling
From a young age, I have always been interested in listening to people’s stories and seeing how people have experienced life differently. This led me to explore psychology and counseling to walk alongside individuals and hear how their stories have shaped them.

Chemical Dependency
Chemical dependency is something that many people struggle with throughout the course of their lives. Whether it’s caffeine, alcohol, or other substances, addiction and dependency can root its way into anyone’s life. When working with clients with chemical dependency, strategies I like to use begin with assessing behavioral components and the types of coping skills that the dependency is likely controlling. By working through skills, scenarios, and strategies, counseling can be effective at helping those struggling with chemical dependency.
Counseling for Teens
I really enjoy working with teens. From past experience, teens tend to be quite responsive to me in sessions and seem to have an easier time establishing a strong relationship with me as their therapist. By being able to relate and see through the world with the same type of lens that teens are looking through, we can work together on connecting to establish a therapeutic relationship and goals during our time together.
Depression
Depression is something that many people struggle with – multiple times even, throughout one’s life. While not being able to promise a foolproof answer or cure to depression, during sessions, we can work on developing solid coping skills and techniques to work through the times of depression, find joy in life, or even just to have someone share in your struggles as you work through powerful emotions.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling allows for a wide range of presenting problems and lets us work together at your own pace and on your own schedule. By engaging in individual counseling, we are able to cover a broad spectrum of topics and set goals for the short and long term.
Relationship Issues
Relationships are tough and often we need help maintaining or improving our relationships with others, whether romantic or platonic. By coming to counseling with relationship issues at the forefront of your mind, we are able to work together on strategies for success, recognize areas for development, and work on relational skills that can be implemented in every area of your life.
